Begin your adventure with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Helsinki. Travel to Nuuksio National Park and set off on a guided snowshoe hike through the forest trails.
Follow your guide along a moderate 5-kilometre route, suitable for most age groups and ability levels. Take in the snow-draped landscapes, crisp air, and natural beauty of the park while learning about local winter flora and fauna.
Refuel halfway through your journey around a crackling open fire.
Warm up with a traditional hearty outdoor menu featuring:
Savory sausages, steaming hot soup, sweet Finnish buns (pulla) and warm blueberry juice

Relax in the serene silence before heading comfortably back to Helsinki.
An introduction to snowshoes will be provided before the activity.
This activity is subject to suitable weather and snow conditions. If there is insufficient snow for snowshoes, the tour will adapt to use high-quality traction spikes and walking poles so the experience can still run safely. Alternatively, if you prefer not to proceed with the modified tour, you will receive a full refund.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
For snowshoes to fit correctly you should have walking boots that cover the ankle. Ideally they would also be insulated.
Walking shoes are not acceptable in the snow.
No prior snowshoe experience is necessary.
Please bring a warm hat and gloves, plus clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
You can always send me a message if you are unsure.
I provide hot juice at the lunch stop but you should have your own water for the hike.
