On this aurora tour from Rovaniemi, you don’t just wait for the northern lights, you go where they are most likely to appear, guided by experts who read the forecasts and the sky.

Unlike ordinary tours, each journey is unique. Some nights we stay close to Rovaniemi, other nights we may travel hundreds of kilometers even across the Swedish border always searching for the clearest skies and the best chance to see the aurora dance.

As we travel, your guide shares the story of the northern lights as living science. You will learn how the sun sends its energy across space, how particles collide in Earth’s atmosphere, and why the lights shimmer in certain places but not in others. The mystery becomes clearer, yet even more enchanting.

During the experience, you’ll enjoy coffee beneath the Arctic night sky and receive professional photographs taken by your guide, delivered within 24 hours.

Our tours are welcoming to travelers from around the world, with guiding available in English, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish. Pick-up and drop-off are included within 10 km of Rovaniemi for your comfort.

Guests will be notified of the starting time via WhatsApp by 1:00–1:30 PM.
If you have an early flight the next morning, we do not recommend booking this tour, as we always return very late, usually in the early hours of the morning.
