Enjoy a family snowmobile safari designed for families looking for a more personal and professional experience. We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 guests, so our guides can adapt the pace to the children and make sure everyone enjoys the tour. If your family has 8 or more participants, we will organize it as a private tour at no extra cost.
Your adventure starts at our office in Rovaniemi, or we can pick you up from your accommodation. After getting dressed in high-quality winter equipment, including thermal overalls, boots, gloves, helmets and balaclavas, we head to our snowmobile base, where you’ll ride the newest snowmobiles on the market.
Before the tour begins, our professional guides will explain how to safely drive the snowmobile. Every guide at Snowride Lapland has years of experience leading snowmobile tours in Lapland because, for us, safety and professionalism always come first.
Children under 140 cm travel in our unique heated sledges, pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Even on the coldest winter days, when temperatures drop below -20°C or even -30°C, they stay warm throughout the tour. This allows parents to simply enjoy driving the snowmobile, knowing their children are warm and comfortable.
Unlike many large operators, we don’t run large groups or follow tight schedules. The driving time is around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the pace of the group. We never rush the experience, and if everyone is enjoying the tour, we often spend a little longer on the trails. Along the way, we’ll stop for photos and enjoy the Arctic surroundings.
After the safari, we return to our office and, or we can drive you back to your accommodation.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
• A valid Category B (car) driving licence is required to drive a snowmobile.
• The price is based on twin driving (2 people sharing one snowmobile). If you prefer to ride separately, an upgrade to a solo driving may be available at our office, subject to availability
• Driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Children under 140 cm travel in our unique heated sledges, pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
• Children 140 cm or taller can travel as a passenger on the snowmobile. In this case, the adult price applies.
• The tour is not recommended for pregnant women beyond the first trimester.
• Maximum liability is €750 per snowmobile in case of damage. We keep it among the lowest in Rovaniemi thanks to our experienced professional guides and our strong focus on safety.
