Stories big and small about this Normandy gem
Discover the history of Mont Saint-Michel, starting with the village. Through its narrow streets and winding paths, we'll travel back in time to understand the experiences of pilgrims, the lives of the village's inhabitants, the oldest houses, and the best places to visit!
Then, together, we'll explore the abbey and its fifteen or so medieval rooms, including the monks' refectory, the cloister, the guest room, the foundations, and the scriptorium. I'll tell you about the lives of the monks and also of the prisoners who stayed at Le Mont after the French Revolution.
The tour starts at the entrance to the village, in the first courtyard by the restrooms.
Tour ends in the last room of the monastery.
Duration: approximately 2 hours.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
This tour involves climbing just over 300 steps, in flights with landings. Uncomfortable shoes should be avoided.
Meet in the 1st courtyard at the entrance to the village, where you'll also find the toilets and a fountain shaped like a scallop shell.
The guide will call you before departure.
