Description

Experience your first scuba-dive in the clear waters of the Calanques National Park. Learn to scuba dive with certified instructors and discover unspoiled marine life.
Discover the unique sensations of scuba diving during an introductory dive at the Frioul Islands, Riou Island, or Planier Island, off the coast of Marseille. This introductory session is for everyone, from 8 years of age, and does not require any previous experience. Supervised by passionate professionals, you will be welcomed at the Old Port of Marseille, where all the gear will be provided and adjusted to ensure your comfort and safety.

After a short boat ride to the diving site, you will receive a briefing on the basics of scuba diving and on the marine ecosystem of Calanques National Park. You will gradually enter the water, accompanied at all times by a certified instructor, to explore the seabed with complete peace of mind. Observe fish, starfish, sea urchins, and sometimes even octopuses, living in a protected environment.

The introductory dive is designed to be accessible and reassuring, with a dive time adapted to each person (about 20 minutes underwater, maximum depth of 6 meters). Make the most of this sensory experience and leave with unforgettable souvenirs. After the dive, you will get back on board to share your impressions before returning to the Vieux-Port with a smile on your face and perhaps a new passion in mind.
