Meet your guide in front of the Bayeux Tourist Office and set off on a guided walking tour that tells the story of the city during a pivotal period: the arrival of the Germans, the Occupation, daily life, and the Liberation. Designed to encourage discussion, this small-group tour offers a more personalized and accessible approach as you explore the streets and landmarks of the city center.

Throughout the tour, your guide will put the places you visit into context and provide a clear account of the events, focusing on the tangible impacts on the local population: the organization of the city, the constraints of everyday life, and the transition to the Liberation. To enhance the experience, the tour includes a short screening of documents, as well as opportunities for exploration using new technologies (subject to availability), to offer a fresh perspective on Bayeux.

The tour then continues with a 30-minute Q&A session in a friendly atmosphere, which is ideal for delving deeper into certain points, asking for clarifications, and engaging in a discussion with the guide.

Seasonal activity (from April 1 to September 15), offered by reservation, with departures starting at 6:00 p.m. The tour operates in all weather conditions and needs a minimum of 4 participants booked on in order to operate.
