Ajaccio: Sea trip to Bonifacio and the Lavezzi Islands

Discover the most beautiful sites in Corsica: Bonifacio and the Lavezzi Islands. Located between Corsica and Sardinia, this incredible archipelago surrounded by turquoise water is made up of 23 islands, islets and granite reefs, including Lavezzi Island, where the lighthouse built in 1874 and two marine cemeteries are located.
If you're looking forward to a day trip on the West Coast, the captain will meet you in Ajaccio at 8:00 AM, then in Porticcio at 8:15 AM. The boat will then set sail for an hour and a half of freedom, with the wind in your hair, heading for the Archipelago. Upon arrival, you will discover the magnificent rocks of the surrounding islands. You will be offered a stop to enjoy the turquoise waters of the Lavezzi Islands, or on the Piantarella, also known as the "Piantarella Lagoon". Fine sand and sunshine await.
To continue this sea trip towards sunny Bonifacio, the boat will head back towards the rocks of Bonifacio. You will then be able to observe the unique features of these steep, white cliffs from different vantage points, from the Staircase of the King of Aragon, the open-air cave, or Napoleon's grotto.
To continue this beautiful discovery, the captain will stop around noon for a 2.5-hour break in Bonifacio, a city full of vibrancy and unique architecture, which makes it so special. Many restaurants will welcome you for lunch, where you can discover local and seasonal products. You can also enjoy strolls in the historic old town or simply sit facing the sea with a delicious sandwich in hand.
To continue this splendid excursion, the boat will set sail again for the Gulf of Roccapina for a swimming stop. The sea, with its crystal-clear water, offers a fine sandy beach at the end of the bay. The captain will extend the day trip to Tivella Beach with a stop for swimming. Then head to the Senetosa Lighthouse, south of the Gulf of Valinco, and Tizzano, where you can enjoy a drink or two on the terrace.
To conclude this trip, the boat will go to Cacao Beach, commonly known in the region as Cacalu Beach. We will then return to the bay of Ajaccio and Porticcio at sunset after a lovely sea trip towards Bonifacio.
