Mauritius: 2-Day North Discovery & Benitier Island Tour

The second day brings you to the peaceful lagoon of the west coast for dolphins, Crystal Rock and Ile aux Benitier with a full barbecue lunch included. Day 1 North Mauritius Discovery
Begin your journey in Port Louis with a visit to the lively Central Market filled with colourful produce, local snacks, handcrafted items and traditional spices. Continue to the Caudan Waterfront where you can enjoy the umbrellas alley, small boutiques, cafes and harbour views.
Your driver will then take you to Fort Adelaide also called La Citadelle which sits on a hill overlooking the city. This historical site offers a wide panoramic view of Port Louis, the mountains and the harbour, making it an ideal place for photos.
Next, visit the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden where your entrance ticket is included. Walk among the giant water lilies, tall palm avenues, spice trees and peaceful shaded paths. The visit continues toward Cap Malheureux where the famous Red Roof Church faces a bright turquoise lagoon with clear views of northern islands.
The day ends with a relaxing stop at Pereybere or Grand Baie Beach depending on the flow of the itinerary. An optional lunch can be arranged at a local restaurant before or after the beach time.
Day 2 Dolphin Experience Crystal Rock Ile aux Benitier with BBQ Lunch
Your second day begins on the west coast with the chance to watch or swim with dolphins in their natural environment. The crew will guide you to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience on the water.
After the dolphin encounter, the boat heads to Crystal Rock, a unique natural formation rising from a clear blue lagoon. This is a beautiful place for photos and a refreshing swim.
The journey continues to Ile aux Benitier, a long sandy island known for its shallow turquoise water and wonderful views of Le Morne Brabant. Here you will enjoy a complete barbecue lunch prepared by the crew. The meal usually includes grilled chicken, fresh fish, sausages, mixed salad, garlic bread and banana flambé for dessert. Drinks are also provided including beer, wine, rum, soft drinks, juice and water.
You will have free time to relax on the beach, swim in the lagoon or walk calmly along the shoreline before returning to shore.
