Planning to visit Mont Saint-Michel? Take the opportunity to stroll along the sand at the foot of its ramparts and learn more about the bay and its legendary quicksand!
After meeting your guide at the foot of the ramparts, you will set off on a short, enjoyable walk in the area immediately surrounding the Mont. Over the course of a short walk, you will discover a wide variety of soils.
As you make your way, your guide will tell you about the bay’s natural heritage (fauna, flora, tides, etc.) and the history and legends of this mystical place, and will have you dance on the quicksand. If the terrain allows, you will cross small waterways.
Return to Mont Saint-Michel.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
Please note that it typically takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour to get to Mont Saint-Michel from the parking lots. You can cover this route on foot or by taking the dedicated shuttle buses.
Paid parking.
Meet outside the Mont, at the foot of the ramparts, in front of the Fanils porch, 50m to the left of the main entrance. The porch leads to the Gendarmerie. The guide sits to the right of this porch.
