Experience Berlin’s most iconic lost place and street art gallery. Teufelsberg offers breathtaking views, vibrant street art, and an unforgettable journey through history, mystery, and creativity.
Enjoy one of the most incredible art spaces in Berlin with this ticket for Teufelsberg. Explore one of the largest street art galleries in the world where hundreds of pieces of art by international street artists can be found spanning the entire site.
Explore one of Berlin’s most legendary and unconventional places with this entrance ticket to Teufelsberg. Perched high above the city, this former Cold War listening station is now a giant open-air museum filled with world-class street art and wrapped in layers of history.
Your visit begins with a walk through the forest of Grunewald, where the iconic domes of Teufelsberg slowly emerge from the treetops. Once at the summit, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views over Berlin and beyond – a perfect backdrop for the extraordinary atmosphere of this place.
Teufelsberg’s story is as dramatic as its skyline: built from 26 million cubic meters of WWII debris, it conceals the ruins of a Nazi military academy. During the Cold War, the U.S. and British forces constructed a massive listening station atop the artificial hill, hidden in plain sight within Soviet-controlled territory.
Today, the former spy site has transformed into one of Europe’s largest street art galleries. Over 400 international artists have brought its concrete walls to life with massive murals, ever-evolving graffiti, and thought-provoking installations – many reaching up to 270 square meters in size. The works range from bold political commentary to fantastical dreamscapes and are constantly renewed in collaboration with artists from around the world.
A highlight for history and espionage enthusiasts is the permanent exhibition “Declassified – Das Geheimnis des Teufelsbergs”, which dives deep into the site’s covert past. This multilingual exhibition sheds light on the geopolitical tensions of the Cold War and the purpose of the mysterious structures that remain.
In addition to self-guided exploration, the site offers guided tours and educational programs, making it ideal for visitors seeking deeper context. There are also refreshments and amenities on-site to enhance your stay – whether you're grabbing a coffee, taking a break with a view, or planning to linger a little longer.
Depending on the season, festivals, music events, and cultural happenings add even more color to the experience. For up-to-date event information, check the official website before your visit: www.teufelsberg-berlin.de
Whether you're a street art lover, a history buff, or a curious explorer – Teufelsberg is a Berlin must-see, where the echoes of the past meet the creative energy of the present.
