The house of Hohenzollern was once one of the most powerful family dynasties on German soil with a nearly 1000 year old tradition. Her most famous son was Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. Enjoy a fantastic view from 850 meters height of the fortifications of the castle on the entire surrounding area. You will have enough time to walk around the ramparts, the towers and the courtyard of this impressive mountain castle.
The highlight of the day: an interior visit accompanied by a guide. Magnificent halls and living rooms, decorated with paintings, precious porcelain, gold and silver wrought ironwork and historical vestments.
If you fancy Swabian specialities, the restaurant as well as the beer garden are on site.
