Join us on a musical journey through time to the "golden" 1920s. Experience an atmospheric walk through the exciting decade.
Life was vibrant not only in Berlin, but also in Hanover in the 20s. It was a time of extreme contrasts between the two world wars. Economic awakening, a heyday for artists and cultural figures, and social movements on the one hand. Inflation, the Great Depression, and the threat of political upheaval on the other.
You will meet the group and the city guide at the Historical Museum in the Old Town, then continue towards the Marktkirche, past the Opera House and Café Kröpcke, over the Steintor back to the Kreuzkirche and Ballhof. Along the way, you will meet our actor and singer in the roles of Kurt Schwitters, a shoeshiner, and a war veteran, among others.
You will experience evergreens and popular hits in their original locations, "Ausgerechnet Bananen" indeed. Our experienced city guide provides key data, facts, and interesting anecdotes. At the same time, you will explore the city and the Old Town of Hannover.

This tour is wheelchair accessible, but it requires walking on cobblestones and covers a distance of approximately 2.5 km.
The meeting point is at the entrance of the currently closed Historical Museum on Burgstrasse at the corner of Pferdestrasse.
