Description

Discover the Christkindlesmarkt from a new perspective. Experience tradition, craftsmanship, and the moving stories of the market vendors – far more than a regular market visit.
Christmas Market – Behind the Scenes – More than Mulled Wine and Gingerbread! Discover the secrets of the Nuremberg Christmas Market, get to know real market vendors, and experience the magic of Christmas with background knowledge.

This special adventure tour takes you behind the festively decorated stalls and tells the stories of the people who have passionately shaped the Christmas Market for generations. Learn how one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany became a world-famous Christmas experience.

At selected stops, you will get to know traditional family businesses and discover the fascinating craftsmanship behind the famous gold leaf angels, Zwetschgenmännla (plum men), high-quality Christmas decorations, and other regional specialties. You will learn exciting anecdotes, centuries-old traditions, and surprising background information that would remain hidden from you on your own stroll.
Of course, there's also plenty of indulgence: During the guided tour, you can expect small "Versucherle" – typical specialties of the Nuremberg Christmas Market. This way, you will experience the Christmas city not only with your eyes, but with all your senses.

Along the way, you will also collect small "Gschenkla" (Franconian for small gifts) in your personal souvenir bag. At the end, you will take home a lovingly prepared goodie bag – a special memento of your visit to the Nuremberg Christmas Market.
ATTENTION - Note: There is a fee of €8 per person for the souvenir bag with small samples, the "Gschenkla," and small surprises. This can be paid on site. Optional.
