The castle grounds, viewing areas and Marienbrücke are included in your tour, while the tour inside the castle is an optional upgrade. If available tickets can be purchased through your guide on the morning of the trip.
The tour involves walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
The walk up to Neuschwanstein Castle takes about 30-40 minutes on a steep path. Alternatively, a horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus is available for an extra fee.
