Next, we visit the charming village of Margarites, renowned for its long-standing pottery tradition. Strolling through its narrow alleys, you’ll witness skilled artisans keeping the craft alive.Arkadi Monastery. We then continue to the historic Arkadi Monastery, one of the most important monuments in Crete and a symbol of resistance and faith. Its origins date back centuries, making it the oldest monastery on the island. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious meal at a local tavern in a traditional mountain village, accompanied by the vibrant melodies of live Cretan music. After lunch, take a walk in the village of Apostoli and visit the old olive oil factory to learn about the time-honored process of olive oil production. Our final stop is the breathtaking Saint Antonios Gorge – a natural wonder offering serene landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere to conclude this memorable excursion.Please note: The tour involves some walking, so comfortable shoes and a hat are recommended.
