Tour in the museum. The War Museum is housed in an impressive building, erected between 1900 - 1902 by the famous Italian architect Vitaliano Poselli, for the needs of the Ottoman army.
The Museum has been operating since 2000 and presents the modern war memorial history of Thessaloniki and Greece. It is owned by the Greek Ministry of Defense and run by the Greek Armed Forces.
You will have the opportunity of meeting a Greek that serves in the Armed Forced appointed in the Museum.
