Tbilisi: 2-Day Kakheti Tastings & Kazbegi Adventure Tour

Experience two very different sides of Georgia on a 2-day small-group journey from Tbilisi, with hotel pickup and drop-off on both days. Discover Kakheti through food, wine and local traditions, then explore the dramatic landscapes of the Greater Caucasus.

**DAY 1 – KAKHETI: WINE, FOOD & TRADITIONS**

Begin with hotel pickup in Tbilisi and travel toward Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region. Enjoy three tasting experiences featuring Georgian wine, regional cheese, freshly baked bread, traditional spices and local products.

Take part in a hands-on **Churchkhela Masterclass**, learning how this traditional Georgian sweet is prepared while actively participating in the process.

Continue to **Sighnaghi**, the charming hilltop town overlooking the Alazani Valley. Walk through its historic streets and enjoy panoramic Caucasus views before visiting **Bodbe Monastery**, an important cultural and spiritual landmark.

Return to Tbilisi for hotel drop-off. The evening is free to relax or explore the city. An **optional evening boat trip in Tbilisi** can be arranged between the two tour days, subject to availability and weather.

**DAY 2 – KAZBEGI: MOUNTAINS & ADVENTURE**

Start with hotel pickup and travel north along the Georgian Military Highway. Stop at **Zhinvali Reservoir** for photographs, then visit **Ananuri Fortress** before continuing to **Gudauri** for spectacular mountain views.

For adventure lovers, optional **paragliding or ziplining** may be available in Gudauri, depending on weather and local conditions. Activities are optional and paid separately.

Continue to **Sno Valley** and visit Sno village, known for its dramatic mountain scenery and distinctive stone sculptures. Then continue to **Stepantsminda** and take a **4x4 vehicle to Gergeti Trinity Church**, with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek.

Finish at **Darial Gorge**, one of the most dramatic landscapes near the Russia–Georgia border. When local conditions allow, a viewpoint in the Russia–Georgia border area may also be visited.

After exploring the Caucasus, relax during the return journey to Tbilisi with hotel drop-off.

This 2-day journey combines Georgian wine and food, hands-on traditions, historic towns, mountain villages, spectacular scenery and optional adventure activities.
