Discover the rich flavors and traditions of Georgia on a private full-day tour to Kakheti, the country’s most famous wine region. Your journey begins with a stop at a traditional bakery, where you will taste hot Georgian bread (shotis puri) fresh from a clay tone oven, paired with local artisan cheese – a simple but unforgettable combination.
Next, continue to a family-run winery for a professional tasting of at least 6 wines with a sommelier. Learn about the UNESCO-listed qvevri method, where wine is made in ancient clay vessels, and experience Georgia’s unique amber wines. To broaden the experience, you will also visit a modern wine factory and enjoy another tasting, comparing traditional and contemporary styles of production.
The highlight of the day is a true Georgian supra – a festive feast with a wide variety of local dishes, warm hospitality, and heartfelt toasts. More than just a meal, the supra is a window into Georgian culture and traditions.
