The waterfall is approximately 40 meters high and sits at an elevation of around 1,700 meters above sea level, creating a cool and refreshing mountain atmosphere throughout the year. The name "Cibeureum" comes from the Sundanese language, meaning "red water", referring to the reddish-colored moss and algae that grow naturally on the surrounding rock cliffs.
Taman Bunga Nusantara is one of Indonesia's most spectacular botanical attractions, located in Sukaresmi, Cianjur, West Java, approximately 2.5–3 hours from Jakarta.
