Description

Make your own silver jewellery in Kotagede, Yogyakarta's famous silver village. Guided by an expert silversmith, you'll forge, carve, and polish a unique keepsake to take home.
Welcome to Studio76, a small and peaceful silversmith studio in Kotagede, Yogyakarta's oldest neighbourhood and most famous silver-making district. Far from the tourist crowds, this intimate, appointment-only studio is the perfect place to slow down and create something truly your own.

Your instructor is a local silversmith with over 20 years of teaching experience. They speak English, French, and Indonesian and will guide you through every step in a relaxed, beginner-friendly way. No experience needed at all.

You'll start by choosing what to make: a ring, earrings, or a pendant. Then you'll do it all yourself.

Step by step, you'll design your piece, shape the silver, carve the details, solder the parts together, and polish it to a beautiful finish. Your instructor demonstrates each technique and is always there to help, but every key moment of the making is yours.

After 1 to 2 hours, you'll leave with a real piece of silver jewellery, up to 4 grams, made entirely by your own hands. The most personal souvenir you can bring home from Yogyakarta.
