Begin your night with a grand welcome at the castle door where you’ll be greeted by Irish Wolfhounds and offered a crisp whiskey soda. As the ethereal notes of the Irish harp fill the air enjoy a meet and greet and photo opportunity with our majestic dogs.

The Welcome Experience
Irish Wolfhounds: Guests are greeted at the castle gates by majestic Irish Wolfhounds, recreating a historical scene of a returning hunt party.

Arrival Time: It is recommended to arrive by 6:00 PM to take photos with the wolfhounds and enjoy the castle grounds.

Welcome Drink & Music: Upon arrival, guests receive a crisp fine whiskey soda and are entertained by the melodies of an Irish Harpist.

Evening Atmosphere: The experience includes a chance to view the main rooms of Malahide Castle after dark, providing a rare, atmospheric perspective of the historic building & a little immersive theatre - a tour but not as you know it!

Prop Trunk: A dedicated trunk is available at the start of the night filled with period accessories like pocket watches, feather boas, walking sticks, and moustaches to help guests get into character.

Theatrical Staff: Actors play roles such as the "drunken butler" who can be bribed to help guests decipher clues or unlock hidden treats like Limoncello.

The Meal: A sumptuous four-course gourmet feast served in Nugent’s Hall.

The Menu: The food is based on contemporary gourmet cuisine (not actual game meat) and includes 2 glasses of wine.

Dietary Needs: Vegetarian and vegan options are available; dietary requirements should be emailed to the events team by the Wednesday before the event.
