Discovering the Etna Volcano, possibility of stopping for an hour and a half in a typical local winery with winetasting and light lunch, driving to Taormina by coast and visit the center.
Explore the Etna volcano and everything around it with your private English-speaking driver. Etna is the largest volcano in Europe and is always active! We will travel along the south-east side to reach an altitude of 2000 metres, admiring various lava flows, vegetation and enchanting landscapes. We will visit the Silvestri Craters at an altitude of 1936 meters contemplating the 2001 eruption.
The Etna vineyards are among the highest in Italy and Europe and have contributed to the growth of our Sicilian wines. A stop at a wine cellar recommended by us is recommended to be able to taste 4/5 types of wine, and to be able to taste some typical products and meals of our island.
The Tour will proceed with a visit to Taormina, passing through Giardini Naxos, an ancient fishing village located south of Taormina. We will travel along the coast enjoying an exemplary panorama of the Ionian Sea and beaches, with some short stops to take photos. Visit to Taormina, picturesque city and pearl of the Ionian Sea, Greek Theatre, the second most important historical theater in Sicily, walk along Corso Umberto, visit to the Cathedral.
