Experience the tradition of classical painting in Florence in a real working art studio.
During this workshop you will be guided step by step by professional artists trained in classical techniques. You will learn the basics of oil painting including color mixing, brush handling, and how to build a painting from the first sketch to the final touches.
The session is designed for beginners as well as anyone curious about painting. No previous experience is required. Our instructors will guide you through the process so that you can enjoy painting while learning fundamental techniques.
You will work on a small canvas and create your own oil painting inspired by classical methods. At the end of the workshop you can take your finished artwork home as a unique memory of Florence.
The workshop takes place in Florence Atelier, an artist studio located in the historic center of the city. It is a relaxed and creative environment where visitors can experience painting in the same city that inspired generations of artists.

No previous painting experience is required.
All materials are provided in the studio.
Please arrive 5 minutes before the starting time.
Please meet at Florence Atelier, Via dei Fibbiai 3, Florence.
The studio is located in the historic center of Florence, just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) and the Accademia Gallery.
