Meet your guide by the North Exit of the JR Hiroshima Station, next to the big map. Introduce yourself and be briefed by your guide, so the tour will start as soon as the group is complete.

Visit the Peace Memorial Museum, and experience the tragedy that hit the city of Hiroshima. Feel, learn, and explore an overflow of emotions connected to the consequences of the first atomic bomb used on the city of Hiroshima. As your guide cannot do live commentary during the visit inside the museum, an audio guide is available upon request, with no extra charge.

After visiting the museum, go up north and visit different sites connected to the tragedy of Hiroshima, from different perspectives. Your guide will give all the information you need to understand the significance of each stop, providing a deeper understanding of what happened after the explosion and its consequences.

Get a close look at the famous "Bomb Dome" of Hiroshima, and learn some additional information about the building and its history, with the assistance of your guide. Getting there after the museum makes it even more intense, as you will already learn many things by going to the museum in the first place.

Take a break from the flow of emotions, and have lunch in a local food court, providing different types of food, including some vegetarian-friendly dishes. Of course, the famous "Okonomiyaki" from Hiroshima is also available on site, among other types of cuisine, to match most people's expectations and/or diet.

With a mix of train and ferry, get to Miyajima Island and follow your guide to the beautiful "Itsukushima Shrine", also known as the "Floating Shrine". Listen to your guide and learn about the history of the shrine, including an introduction to Shinto, providing a better understanding of this type of spiritual way, and the Japanese culture.

Visit one of the most beautiful temple complexes in the region of Hiroshima, and get a better and deeper understanding of the development of Buddhism in Japan, and most specifically in Hiroshima prefecture and Miyajima Island.

Get some free time in the popular "Omotesando" Shopping Street in Miyajima Island. Ask your guide for advice on authentic and local treats and souvenirs. Enjoy food, drinks, and shopping, and meet the group back at the ferry terminal to head back to Hiroshima Station.

If you stay in Miyajima for the night, we will say goodbye to you anytime. If you need to go back to Hiroshima, then the tour will end at Hiroshima Station.
