After arriving at the shop, you will choose your kimono from a variety of styles and colors. Our staff will assist you with selecting and wearing the kimono comfortably. Once you are ready, you will take part in a traditional tea ceremony, where you can enjoy matcha, taste Japanese sweets, and learn about Japanese tea culture in a calm setting.
If you book the 10:30 AM tea ceremony, please arrive at the shop around 9:30 AM or earlier, as time is needed to choose and wear your kimono.
If you book the 2:30 PM tea ceremony, you may come in the morning to get dressed in kimono first, enjoy sightseeing around Kyoto, and return to the shop around 2:15 PM for the tea ceremony. This gives you more time to explore Kyoto, walk through historic streets, and take beautiful photos in kimono.
If you prefer to come in the afternoon for both kimono dressing and the tea ceremony, please arrive around 1:30 PM. Arriving too late may shorten or affect your experience.
Before or after the tea ceremony, you can go sightseeing around Kyoto in your kimono. The shop’s convenient location near Kiyomizu-dera makes it easy to visit nearby sightseeing spots and enjoy the traditional Kyoto atmosphere.
This experience is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy Japanese tea culture, kimono, Kyoto scenery, and memorable moments all in one activity.
Please return the kimono by 5:30 PM on the same day.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
The booking time is the matcha tea ceremony start time. If your booking includes kimono rental, please arrive 1 hour before the tea ceremony start time. For example, if your tea ceremony starts at 10:30 AM, please arrive at 9:30 AM for the kimono experience. After booking, please check the email we send you carefully.
If you arrive late, the kimono experience may not be available before the tea ceremony, and the kimono portion cannot be refunded. You will join the matcha tea ceremony at the scheduled time and may only be able to wear the kimono after the tea ceremony has finished.
Guests who arrive 30 minutes or more late may not be able to enter the experience room or join the experience. Please check your reservation time carefully before booking and arrive on time.
For safety reasons, pregnant guests cannot wear kimono or join the tea ceremony experience due to the tightness of kimono dressing and the traditional sitting posture required during the tea ceremony.
