Under expert guidance, your group steps into the quirky world of Japanese culinary art to hand-craft an ultra-realistic, "kawaii" miniature dessert replica to take home as an unforgettable souvenir .
From there, we leave the tourist tracks behind and wind down a peaceful residential path to the historic Tōji-in Temple. By carefully timing our arrival before the temple gates close, you get to experience the property at its absolute calmest. Sit inside a gorgeous wooden hall overlooking a breathtaking, ancient moss pond garden while sipping a freshly whisked bowl of Uji matcha paired with exclusive, temple-themed wagashi sweets.
We conclude our journey at the world-famous Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Pavilion) . Entering during the final opening hour allows us to seamlessly bypass the heavy daytime tour buses.
