Nara: Half-day excursion in Spanish: experience the real Japan with a Spanish-speaking tour guide.
Before Tokyo and Kyoto, Nara was the first capital of Japan, and it still retains a timeless atmosphere that few cities in the world have. In Nara, history isn't contemplated from afar: it's felt, breathed, and experienced with all the senses. Best of all, you'll experience it in your own language.
Our 4-hour sightseeing tour in Spanish takes you to the most iconic corners of this millenary city, accompanied by a passionate local guide who knows every secret, every legend, and every detail that independent travelers simply miss.
What will you experience?
Your adventure begins in the mythical Deer Park, where more than 1,400 free and sacred deer coexist with visitors. If you're lucky, one of them will greet you with a bow. It's not a zoo or a show: it's a unique experience you won't find anywhere else in the world.
The highlight of the sightseeing tour is the imposing Todaiji Temple, home to the Great Buddha of Nara. At 15 meters tall, it is the largest Buddha statue in the world, housed in the largest wooden building on the planet. Upon entering, every traveler feels something that's difficult to describe: smallness and connection to something eternal at the same time.
From the heights of the Nigatsudo Pavilion, you'll enjoy a unique panoramic view of Nara. A place of meditation and beauty that will take your breath away.
Finally, the tour ends at the Grand Kasuga Taisha Shrine, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its path, flanked by more than 2,000 stone lanterns donated by believers over the centuries, is one of the most impressive sights in Japan. The sacred deer roam among the lanterns as guardians of an ancient secret.
