Description
Dress in a kimono and explore Kagurazaka’s historic streets with a private guide while visiting a shrine and temple, enjoying matcha and sweets, and visiting long-established shops
Experience multiple elements of Japanese tradition in one immersive walk through Kagurazaka.
Begin by being professionally dressed in a kimono with hair styling by our staff. We provide traditional props like Japanese umbrellas and drawstring bags. Once ready, your guide will lead you through Kagurazaka’s historic streets to visit both a shrine and a temple, where you will learn the difference between the two through firsthand experience.
Continue your walk toward a traditional café, stopping for photos and small shops along the way. Here, enjoy handmade matcha and wagashi prepared by the shop owner in a calm, traditional setting.
Visit a long-established chopstick specialty store, where you can purchase chopsticks made from natural wood and finished with traditional Japanese lacquer. You can engrave your name in katakana, creating a meaningful and practical souvenir unique to you. Please note that the chopstick making fee is not included in this tour.
