Nagoya 2-Day Tour: UNESCO Shirakawa-go & Mt. Tateyama Snow Wall
This tour takes you from Nagoya to Japan's iconic winter wonders.
Day 1
Depart from Nagoya Station (Taiko-dori West Exit) to explore the traditional town of Hida Takayama and the UNESCO Shirakawa-go village with its famous gassho-zukuri thatched houses. Overnight stay at a local hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, ascend to Mt. Tateyama (elev. 2,450m) via the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Marvel at the spectacular 20-meter-high snow walls near Murodo. Return to Nagoya in the evening.

Even if you select "English" as the tour guide's language selection, the guide may be in Chinese or Japanese. In that case, English guidance will be provided using an interpreter.
Single rooms are available even for group participants (1 room for 1 person).
If the toll road closes due to bad weather, the Murodo trip shifts to a cable car, costing 5000 to 7000 JPY extra. Note potential schedule changes due to traffic or incidents. Snow Otani Walk may cancel in bad weather. Yuki-no-Otani wall height varies with climate. Snow Otani Walk venue could be below 10°C; bring a warm jacket.
Opt for the single room guaranteed plan for an additional 4000 JPY. Adverse weather closes Tateyama Toll Road; schedule changes to Kanazawa city sightseeing with JPY 1000 refund per participant.
Please note that you may be charged a cancellation fee even if you cancel within 10 days of departure. If transportation is suspended, complimentary souvenirs will be provided, and no refunds will be issued.
