Day 1: Arrival and Game Drive
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel. Enjoy a short break in Voi town for refreshments before entering the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Embark on your first mid-morning game drive, searching for wildlife in their natural habitat.
Check in at the Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and a briefing. Settle into the iconic stilted rooms overlooking the waterhole. Savor a buffet lunch at the lodge, with panoramic views of animals drinking at the nearby waterhole.
In the afternoon, head out on another game drive, searching for big cats, large elephant herds, and unique landscapes. Return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner.
After dinner, enjoy night wildlife viewing at the lodge’s lit waterhole, perfect for photography. Spend the night at the Sarova Salt Lick Lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return
Wake up early for a morning game drive, the best time for spotting predators, elephants, and capturing stunning sunrise photos. Return to the lodge for breakfast before exiting the sanctuary and driving back.
Stopover in Voi town for lunch (optional, on your own account) before arriving back in Watamu, Mombasa, or Diani. Finish your adventure with a drop-off at your hotel.
