Begin with an early pickup from your hotel in San José and travel toward the Turrialba area, passing Cartago and charming towns like Paraíso, Cervantes, and Juan Viñas. Along the way, enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast before arriving at Parque de Aventura Ganadería Tres Equis.
At the riverbank, your team will fit your gear and deliver a thorough safety briefing plus paddling basics. Then launch for an approximately 18-mile run combining exciting Class III and IV rapids with calmer sections to soak in the scenery.
Tackle well-known rapids such as Huacas, Pele el Ojo, and Cimarrones, and stop for a buffet lunch by the river. After the takeout, change into dry clothes and relax on the ride back to San José, arriving at your hotel around 6:00 PM.
