Walk the trails of Finca Lantana at dawn with the certified guides who own this private biological corridor — the only birding tour here run by the landowners themselves.
Starting at 6 AM, your small group of no more than 8 enters a property that spans from 1,300 to 1,550 meters above sea level, where birds from different ecosystems converge in one location. This elevation range, combined with three distinct habitats — primary forest, secondary forest, and open clearings — creates ideal conditions for spotting 30 to 50 species in a single morning.
Over four hours, your owner-guide leads you through each habitat zone, pointing out toucans, hummingbirds, motmots, trogons, and dozens of other species. Because they live on this land, they know exactly where each bird nests, feeds, and calls — knowledge no visiting guide can replicate.
Every sighting happens in a wild, active biological corridor. No cages, no feeders, no staged encounters.
