Discover Croatia on a 7-day guided tour from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Explore UNESCO sites, taste fresh oysters, and experience the country’s vibrant culture and stunning landscapes.
Explore Croatia’s most beautiful cities and natural wonders—from Zagreb’s lively streets to the stunning Adriatic coast. Experience the best of Croatia on this 6-day guided journey that takes you from the country’s vibrant capital to the famous coastal cities of Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik.
Along the way, explore UNESCO sites, breathtaking lakes, medieval towns, and taste the essence of local life.
Day 1. Begin your adventure in Croatia’s capital. Enjoy a big walking and panoramic tour of Zagreb including both Upper and Lower Town highlights such as Ban Jelačić Square, Kaptol, Gradec, St. Mark’s Church, and the city parks. A traditional local meal is included to welcome you to Croatia.
Day 2. Travel through the heart of Croatia. Visit the charming Rastoke Village, often called “Little Plitvice,” then explore the world-famous Plitvice Lakes National Park (UNESCO site). Before reaching Zadar, stop at the fascinating abandoned Željava Airbase, one of Europe’s largest underground airfields from the Cold War era.
Day 3. After breakfast, leave Zadar and head south along the coast. Stop in Šibenik to admire St. James Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage), then continue to Trogir, a town of stone alleys and Renaissance architecture. Arrive in Split, home to the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace.
Day 4. Join your local guide for a walking tour of Split, visiting Diocletian’s Palace basements, the Peristyle, and the Old Town. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, explore local beaches, or enjoy a glass of wine by the waterfront promenade.
Day 5. Travel toward Dubrovnik with a stop in Ston, known for its impressive medieval walls and seafood. A visit to an oyster farm with tasting is included. Arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon.
Day 6. Explore the “Pearl of the Adriatic” with a local guide, walking the Old Town’s cobblestone streets and famous city walls (ticket included). Visit Mount Srđ for panoramic views of the city and the Adriatic Sea. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore Dubrovnik at your own pace.
