Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Luxembourg City, then heads south to Belval, the modern “City of Science” built atop the country’s last blast furnaces. Climb Blast Furnace A for sweeping views over the steelworks and learn how this colossal site powered Europe’s industrial boom.
Next, explore either the National Mining Museum in Rumelange (Sundays only, underground train into real tunnels) or the National Miners’ Monument in Kayl, a moving memorial to Luxembourg’s mining generations.
