What are we gonna do?
1. We kick things off in comfort:
We'll pick you up at your hotel or Airbnb in Oaxaca City. Just get ready for the adventure
2. We figure out together how to kick things off:
Depending on the group and weather, you can start the ride from our base in Álamos or hop on the transport straight to the archaeological site. Total flexibility!
3. We're exploring Monte Albán:
On a guided tour of about 1.5 hours, you'll uncover the secrets of this amazing Zapotec city: its temples, squares, and breathtaking views that'll leave you speechless.
4. Cycling down to history:
From the top of Monte Albán, we cycle down rural roads and through spectacular landscapes to the village of Arrazola.
5. Meeting with popular art:
In Arrazola, we'll check out a traditional alebrije workshop, where you'll get to see how these colorful figures that bring Oaxacan folklore to life are carved and painted.
6. Route to Cuilápam:
We keep pedaling towards Cuilápam de Guerrero, a super important historical spot from the colonial era.
7. Check out the former Dominican convent:
Facing the vastness of the valley, we explore this stunning 16th-century ex-convent, packed with history, architecture, and symbolism. A place that's seen some major moments in Mexico's history.
8. We come back happy and full of memories:
We wrap up the experience with a ride back to your place, feeling great about an active, cultural, and super Oaxacan day.
