TOUR PROGRAM :
- 7 am : Meet your guide in front Kiosko de la Catedral metropolitana de Oaxaca
- Have breakfast in a Oaxaca Market and taste Day of the Dead Bread
- Transfer to an Alebrijes studio in San Martin Tilcajete to discover this traditional art
- Paint your own Alebrije and learn more about Day of the Dead traditions
- Join a Mole workshop and taste this delicious Mexican dish
- 1:30 pm : End the tour in the Mole workshop in Oaxaca
IMPORTANT :
Day of the dead event takes place from the 31st of October to 2nd of November.
This tour is to learn about the traditions of this celebration. It introduces travelers to the traditions, culture, and symbolism of the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico. It is focused on history, local customs, and community traditions, and should not be viewed as a Halloween-style event or entertainment show.
