Step away from the fast pace of modern travel and experience a meaningful moment of reflection through a traditional letter writing experience in Kathmandu. In this peaceful one-hour session, you will write a personal letter to your future self using handmade Nepali paper, traditional ink, and classic writing tools inspired by old Himalayan writing traditions.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and introduction to the materials used in traditional Nepali paper crafting and handwritten communication. You will be provided with handcrafted Nepali lokta paper, a traditional-style ink setup, and vintage-inspired writing tools designed to create a timeless and memorable experience.
Once settled into the calm atmosphere, you will be invited to slow down, reflect, and write a personal message to your future self. Guests may choose to write about their current life journey, dreams, personal growth, travel memories, future goals, or words of encouragement for the years ahead. The experience is fully personal and open to individual interpretation.
After completing the letter, you will seal it inside a traditional Nepali envelope for secure storage. You can select a future delivery timeline between 1 and 5 years, and your letter will be safely preserved and mailed to your chosen address on the selected future date.
Throughout the session, your host will guide the experience in a calm and respectful environment, allowing you to disconnect from digital distractions and connect more deeply with your thoughts and memories.
