Enjoy a peaceful stroll through the manicured gardens and waterways of Mona Vale, then travel through the Ōtākaro / Avon River Red Zone. now a symbol of regeneration and open green space. Continue to Sumner, a coastal suburb known for its relaxed atmosphere and sweeping ocean views.
Finish your tour at the historic Sign of the Takahe lookout, where you’ll take in panoramic views across the Canterbury Plains. The tour concludes with drop-off at the original meeting point, Tram Stop 2, Cathedral Square, leaving you ready to explore more of Christchurch at your own pace.
