Explore the South Island’s most gorgeous hiking trails on a 4-day tour. Wander atop mountain peaks, through lush rainforests, and by shimmering lakes like Lake Manapouri and Lake Ada.
Day 1: Queenstown to Te Anau & Routeburn Track
Your adventure begins with an 8am pickup from Queenstown's Steamer's Wharf. Transfer to Te Anau and check into your accommodation before a scenic drive along Milford Road. Tackle your first hike on the famous Routeburn Track to either Key Summit or Greenstone Valley, covering 8-14 km with 400m ascent through stunning terrain. Evening free to relax. Lunch included.
Day 2: Kepler Track & Lake Manapouri
After breakfast, enjoy a jet boat ride to Lake Manapouri, formed 20,000 years ago. Hike the Kepler Track along the Waiau River through beech forests, crossing a swing bridge at Rainbow Reach (6 km, mostly flat). Optional afternoon activities include the Glow Worm Caves tour (NZD $135) or Ata Whenua film screening (NZD $14). Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 3: Milford Sound & Milford Track
Rise early for Milford Sound! Hike the world-renowned Milford Track from Sandfly Point to Giant Gate Falls (11 km) through lush rainforest filled with native birds. Enjoy lunch at the falls before a 2-hour boat cruise on Milford Sound—the "eighth wonder of the world." Spot dolphins, fur seals, and cascading waterfalls as you sail past Mitre Peak. Return to Te Anau in late afternoon. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 4: E-bike Adventure & Return to Queenstown
After breakfast, e-bike the scenic Lake 2 Lake Trail (16 km) along the Waiau River, enjoying lake, mountain, and native bush views on flat gravel trails. Return to Queenstown via private transfer, arriving at 5pm. Breakfast included.
