Taste Macedonian indigenous wines like Zhilavka, Smedervka white, Stanushina rose, Prokupec, Vranec Reserva red wines and Temjanika wine.
Tasting of local Macedonian wine varieties, paired with local food. Taste Zhilavka,
Smedervka, Stanushina, Prokupec, Vranec and Temjanika. All glasses are 0.1l and food pairing is 50-75 grams starter dishes and 150 grams main course.
Menu:
1. Zilavka wine with cheese in filopastry, Fresh indigenous Balkan variety paired with Macedonian "beaten" cheese in filo-pastry with figs
2. Smedervka Barel Fermented with home made chicken pate, A unique local variety "Smederevka" fermented in Oak Barels paired with our home made chicken pate.
3. Stanushina Rose with wild mushrooms risotto , Taste an indigenous Macedonian Variety, Stanushina paired with wild mushroom risotto
4. Prokupec with Mavrovo Sheep "Kashkaval" cheese, A medium bodied spicy Balkan variety, Prokupec, paired with local cheeses and cured meats
5. Vranec Reserva with pork filet and leeks, The Macedonian wine everyone talks about, Vranec Reserva wine served with avant-garde interpretation of a Macedonian classic pork with leeks.
6. Temjanika aromatic wine with apple dessert, The aromatic Temjanika, a distant cousin of the Muscat served with our signature apple dessert
