Description

Meet camels, explore waterfalls and cliffs, watch the sunset over Arabian Sea & discover Salalah’s vibrant night markets. Full-day 4x4 journey blending traditions, stunning nature, and local shopping.
This isn’t just a tour — it’s a journey through the heart of Omani life, from countryside calm to the buzz of Salalah after dark.

Begin your journey with a visit to a family-run camel farm, far from tourist crowds. Meet locals who have raised camels for generations, feed and pet gentle baby camels, and taste fresh camel milk, a rich and healthy tradition passed down through centuries.

Next, head to Burj Al Askar, a historic military tower perched above Taqah, offering panoramic views of the coast and city below. Learn about its strategic role in Dhofar's history while sipping on traditional Karak tea, brewed fresh just for you.

Continue into the mountains toward Wadi Darbat, where lush greenery, grazing camels, and (in season) cascading waterfalls create an oasis of calm. This is one of the most photogenic spots in Oman — bring your camera.

Climb higher to reach Jebel Samhan, Dhofar’s highest viewpoint. From here, look out over dramatic cliffs and the Arabian Sea stretching to the horizon. This is one of Oman’s natural wonders.

Make a quick stop at the Gravity Hill — where your 4x4 seems to roll uphill — and then wander among rare Baobab trees, an ancient species more common in Africa, but mysteriously growing here in Salalah’s highlands.

End the daylight part of your journey with a stunning sunset at Taqah Cliff, where the cliffs glow gold as the sun dips into the sea — a peaceful and powerful moment you won’t forget. But your experience doesn’t end there...

As night falls, return to the city to discover Salalah by night. First, enjoy a photo stop outside the beautifully lit Sultan Qaboos Mosque, glowing in white stone under the night sky.

Next, stop at a traditional Yemeni shop — famous among locals — where you can browse and buy dates, spices, sweets, tea, coffee, and small treasures you won’t find in tourist markets. Your guide will help you pick authentic items and tell you the story behind each flavor.

Finally, explore the Grand Mall of Salalah, a vibrant blend of local culture and modern flair. Shop for perfumes, gold, Omani clothing, and other keepsakes — or just relax and take in the local vibe.

This tour combines everything: culture, history, nature, hospitality, shopping, and storytelling — all in one unforgettable day.
