Take a charming train tour to Machu Picchu. Cross the Sacred Valley and embark on a journey to Machu Picchu to discover the history and cultural heritage of the Incas.

We will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at 4 in the morning to take you for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Ollantaytambo train station. From there, you will take the train at 6:10 a.m. to the town of Aguas Calientes, a journey of one hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will be greeted by your transfer, who will carry a sign with your name, and will take you to the bus station. From there, you will board the bus that will take you to the main entrance of Machu Picchu, where you will meet your guide.
After entering Machu Picchu, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours, during which the guide will provide you with a detailed explanation about the lost city of the Incas. You will then have free time to explore the site on your own. If you wish, you can choose to book an additional ticket to go up and down Huayna Picchu Mountain, which involves a hike of approximately two hours.
After visiting the archaeological site, you take the bus back to Aguas Calientes to have enough time to shop for souvenirs and, if you wish, explore the small town a little more. Then, you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo, a 1.5-hour trip, followed by a 2-hour drive to Cusco. It is estimated to arrive in Cusco around 10:00 pm.
