Your first stop is the “Mirador de los Andes,” perched at 4,900 meters above sea level. Here, take in sweeping views of the Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca, and Mismi volcanoes—the latter being the source of the Amazon River. Continue to Patahuasi in the Pampa Cañahuas, part of the Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
