Full-day Colca Canyon Tour with transfer to Puno
Only have one day to discover the Colca Canyon? With the Full-Day Colca Canyon Tour with transfer to Puno, you'll have an intense and complete experience that combines nature, culture, and adventure in the southern Andes. We'll leave Arequipa at dawn to meet the condors in their natural habitat, enjoy the hot springs, and end the day in Puno, next to the majestic Lake Titicaca.

From Arequipa to the heart of Colca
The adventure kicks off between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m., when our guide will pick you up from your hotel. On the way to Chivay, the starry sky accompanies the first kilometers of the route, while we cross highland landscapes. When you arrive in the village, you'll enjoy a typical Andean breakfast, with coca tea and local products to help you acclimatize. From there, we'll head to the Cruz del Cóndor, the most famous viewpoint in the valley. Watching the Andean condor fly over the vastness of the canyon is a magical experience that no traveler forgets.
If you like, you can take an optional hike from the Cruz del Cura to the Cruz del Cóndor.

Andean villages, viewpoints, and hot springs
After visiting the viewpoint, we'll tour several natural viewpoints and the pre-Inca agricultural terraces of the valley. We'll pass through traditional villages such as Maca, where life revolves around colonial churches, craft markets, and customs that are kept alive, such as the Wititi dance, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. You can try the Colca Sour drink made with Sancayo fruit there. We'll continue with other stops at some viewpoints along the way, such as the Wayrapunku viewpoint to see the end of the valley and the beginning of the Colca Canyon, the Choquetico viewpoint where we'll observe the hanging tombs and the litho-models, and the Antahuilque viewpoint from where we'll observe all the valley's terraces and the mysterious lagoons.

Then we'll visit Yanque, where you can relax in the hot springs of Chacapi, whose sources exceed 38°C and 40°C and are ideal for a 1-hour rest. Back in Chivay, we'll head to a restaurant for a buffet lunch (not included) before continuing on to Puno.

Road to Puno: High Andean Landscapes
After lunch, we'll cross the Patapampa pass (4,910 meters above sea level), also known as the Viewpoint of the Volcanoes, from where you can see the snow-capped Ampato, Sabancaya, and Hualca Hualca. The tour continues to the Toccra wetlands, where you'll see some South American camelids like llamas, alpacas, and some migratory birds. Then we'll arrive at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, a habitat for vicuñas. Before reaching our final destination, we'll make one last stop at the Lagunillas lagoon, a natural refuge for high Andean birds such as flamingos and geese. Finally, we'll arrive in Puno around 7:00 PM. We'll be arriving
