Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: CUSCO – BAMBU LODGE
Our journey begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:30 AM in our private modern vehicle. From there, we will travel through the breathtaking Andean mountains and picturesque traditional villages. As we ascend the mountains, you'll have the opportunity to admire spectacular landscapes, with panoramic views of the Andean valleys.
At noon, we will arrive at the entrance to Manu National Park, a site protected for its biodiversity and considered one of the richest ecosystems in South America. Here, we will begin our expedition into the cloud forest, home to unique species such as the Andean cock-of-the-rock (Peru's national bird), various species of monkeys, orchids, bromeliads, and many exotic birds including the blue-throated toucan, the golden-headed quetzal, and the crested quetzal.
Our first destination will be the Bambu Lodge, a comfortable, high-quality lodge where we will stay for the night.
In the evening, we will go on a nighttime jungle tour. Armed with flashlights and rubber boots, we will explore the trails in search of tarantulas, poison dart frogs, snakes, and nocturnal species such as night monkeys, giant armadillos, and boas. This is a unique experience that can only be had in the tropical rainforest.
Meals: Lunch and dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: BAMBU LODGE – EXPLORATION AND RETURN TO CUSCO
After a delicious breakfast, we will venture deeper into the heart of the rainforest for a hike along the ecologic footpaths, accompanied at all times by our expert naturalist guide. Throughout the day, you will be able to observe various species of wildlife, such as brown capuchin monkeys, collared peccaries, squirrel monkeys, and a wide variety of birds, including parrots, macaws, and toucans. We will also learn about the medicinal plants used by local communities.
We will visit a small lake, where we will board a wooden raft to explore the habitat of various aquatic species. Here, you will have the chance to observe the hoatzin, a prehistoric bird, along with herons, cormorants, and the charming kingfisher.
After lunch in the jungle, if you like, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river or try your hand at sport fishing.
In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco, bringing our experience in the Manu to a close with hearts filled with unforgettable memories. At the end of the day, we will drop you off at your hotel.
