The original Enamel Factory, also known as Oskar Schindler's Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik, dates back to 1937 when it has been established. When Nazi Germany invaded Poland on September 1 1939 it is believed that Oskar Schindler, a Sudeten German, arrived in Kraków on September 6 when German troops entered Kraków.
