Description
Explore two of Krakow’s most powerful sites: the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the Schindler Story Walking Tour. Discover underground beauty and wartime history in one unforgettable full-day experience.
Begin outside Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory on Lipowa Street, where your guide introduces Schindler’s story and his role in saving Jewish workers during WWII.
Continue through Podgórze, the site of the former Nazi ghetto. Walk along historic streets including Tarnowskiego Street, known for the “girl in the red coat” scene from Schindler’s List. Cross Piłsudski Bridge, once a symbolic boundary between confinement and freedom.
The tour continues into Kazimierz, Krakow’s historic Jewish quarter. Explore atmospheric streets such as Józefa, Ciemna, and Szeroka, while learning about prewar Jewish life and the district’s wartime transformation.
This walking tour connects real locations, film history, and powerful human stories, bringing Krakow’s past vividly to life.
Enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the afternoon tour.
Descend into the extraordinary underground world of the Wieliczka Salt Mine. Explore vast chambers, salt-carved chapels, underground lakes, and intricate sculptures. Admire the iconic Chapel of St. Kinga, a breathtaking underground masterpiece carved entirely from salt.
