The tour begins outside Schindler’s Factory on Lipowa Street. Without entering the museum, your guide explains how Schindler turned his factory into a place of refuge, protecting Jewish workers from deportation.
Walking into Podgórze, explore the former ghetto area and visit key sites, including filming locations such as the iconic “girl in the red coat” scene. Crossing Piłsudski Bridge, learn about forced relocations, smuggling, and the division between freedom and imprisonment.
Continue to Kazimierz, once the vibrant heart of Jewish life in Kraków. On Szeroka Street, discover the history of the prewar community and why this district was used by Steven Spielberg to recreate the destroyed ghetto.
Walk through preserved streets and courtyards, visiting locations used in the film, including the symbolic ghetto gate and scenes of escape, hiding, and liquidation.

The tour does not include entrance to the Schindler’s Factory Museum.
