Begin your day with an early departure from Kigali. Enjoy a scenic 3-hour and 15-minute drive via Musanze, with an optional quick coffee or photo stop along the way.
Upon arrival in Gisenyi, embark on a 1.5-hour boat tour on Lake Kivu. Cruise along the shoreline, taking in views of Goma and Mount Nyiragongo. Make a quick stop at Nyamirundi Island for a coffee tasting.
Next, enjoy a 45-minute lunch at a lakeside restaurant or hotel. Savor fresh tilapia or sambaza while enjoying views of the lake.
After lunch, take a short drive to Nyamyumba Hot Springs. Spend 30 minutes soaking in warm pools, followed by 30 minutes applying and drying mineral mud. Finish with a 15-minute rinse-off and relaxation.
