You are warmly invited to experience the real taste of Zambia as a guest in a local home in Livingstone. Enjoy home-cooked traditional Zambian foods that you rarely find in restaurants.
You will enjoy a traditional Zambian meal of nshima, plus multiple sides, and drinking water and a traditional drink. (Vegetarian meal option is available. Please let us know at booking.) Every meal is different based on what is in season and fresh that day, and what the host feels her guests will enjoy. Our hosts come from the various tribes of Zambia - Tonga, Bemba, Lunda, Ngoni, and more - and each one loves to cook meals that represent their cultural heritage.
Meals are at homes in different neighborhoods across the city. We will select the host based on availability and based on distance from your neighborhood. We will email you the directions 24 hours before the meal, with detailed directions and a map pin location.

We cannot accommodate persons with allergies to peanuts (groundnuts), sunflower or soy; these ingredients are very common in traditional Zambian food.
Meals are at homes in different neighborhoods across the city, within a few kilometers from the Livingstone museum. We will select the host based at the time of booking.
